Ride A Pet Roblox: Eggs, Pets, Mutations and Official Links

The Ride A Pet Roblox description gives your pets two jobs: find eggs around the map, and hatch pets that are rarer and faster, because a faster pet is how you reach rarer eggs. It does not name a single egg or pet, or say how rare any of them is, and no other Roblox data we could read lists them either.

What the four official thumbnails show

The Ride A Pet Roblox page has four thumbnails, and two of them show Ride A Pet eggs. Both are split in half. On the left, an avatar touches an egg that sits in a twig nest on the grass, labeled FLAME EGG in one picture and DRAGON EGG in the other. On the right, the same avatar rides what hatched, a fire bird in one and a red dragon in the other, under the words 999 MPH.

The main thumbnail, the one Roblox lists first, shows a rider on a flaming bird with three lines of text in the corner: “Phoenix”, “1 in 50Qa” and “$92,58m/s”. They look like a hatch chance and cash per second, but they are part of an advert. There is no official odds table to check them against, so this guide does not treat them as stats.

Egg names in guide videos

Guide videos name more Ride A Pet eggs than the official art does. SpaceQT's video “*NEW* ALL BLACKHOLE & CHERUB EGG LOCATIONS in Ride A Pet! (FULL SPAWN GUIDE) Roblox” runs 8:45 and went up on 2026-09-16, and the tags in its description mention a waterfall, a Giant Tree, a pyramid and the outskirts. Those are the video author's words. We have not checked any spawn spot, which is why this guide has no egg map yet.

The one official rule for Ride A Pet mutations is the last line of the description: Mutate your Pets to go even faster. It does not say how a mutation happens or how much faster a pet gets.

The developer has also posted an event on Roblox called “🧬 MUTATIONS 🧬”, subtitled “More Content”. It runs from 2026-09-19 14:00 UTC to 2026-09-26 14:00 UTC, and its whole description is one fragment: “can be stacked with weather traits....” So the developer's own words confirm that weather traits exist and that something stacks with them. They do not say which mutations, or by how much.

A second event, “Update 2”, subtitled “Really Cool Update”, is listed from 2026-09-26 13:00 UTC to 2026-09-27 13:00 UTC with the description “x2 Cash Boost + More”. It opens an hour before the MUTATIONS window closes. Both events point to place 124216119978534, the official game.

The game's title changed around the time the event began. Roblox's charts showed “Ride A Pet” at 16:00 UTC on September 17, “[⌛] Ride A Pet” a day later and “[🧬] Ride A Pet” on September 19, with the same DNA icon as the event. On September 22 the Ride A Pet Roblox title still started with [🧬].

Mutation names from third-party guides

Third-party guides describe Ride A Pet mutations as two systems. The allthings.how guide says hatch mutations are rolled when an egg hatches and can make a Gold, Diamond or Rainbow pet. The rideapetroblox.wiki guide lists five weather mutations, Shocked, Volted, Rage, Void and Eternal, and says they stack with hatch mutations. Both guides give multipliers too. We have not seen any of this in the game or in official text, so we repeat the names and leave the numbers out.

SpaceQT's guide to the new update is 4:42 long and went up on 2026-09-19 at 14:37 UTC, 37 minutes after the MUTATIONS window opened. Its title lists mutations, a new egg, new weather and rainbow. That is the video author's summary of the update, not a patch note.

Everything in this section comes from Roblox's own data, read twice: on 2026-09-20 at 14:09 UTC and again on 2026-09-22 at 02:00 UTC. Visits, favorites and votes only ever go up, so the gap between the two reads shows how fast the game is growing.

Players online is the one number that goes up and down. It counts who is in a server at that minute, and our two reads fell at different times of day, so the drop from 202,631 to 94,739 does not mean the game is shrinking. Roblox's charts, read at 16:00 UTC every day, compare fairly: 59,747 players on September 15, 83,414 on September 17 and 176,999 on September 19.

In the 36 hours between our two reads, visits rose by 16,792,601 and the developer group gained 39,172 members. About 97% of votes were thumbs up both times (97.17% and 97.20%), and the thumbs-up total grew from 14,819 on September 15 to 134,161 on September 22.
